Cordell Potter-Hayles, a young karting prodigy, has achieved a remarkable milestone by breaking the lap time record at Teamsport Leicester with a time of 35.4 seconds.

Cordell, who was born in Birmingham and now lives in Leicester, began his karting journey at Teamsport Leicester in 2022 and has quickly risen through the ranks from beginner to advanced. In April 2024, Cordell expanded his experience to outdoor go-karting, further sharpening his skills.

After just four months, he returned to indoor karting and set a new record at Teamsport Leicester on 13 June, 2024. Currently, Cordell is competing in the Daytona InKart Championship and training rigorously for the British Indoor Karting Championship (BIKC). Sponsored by Demon Tweeks, Cordell has already achieved numerous wins and podium finishes. “I don't think about anything else, I just do what's important on the track at the time,” says Cordell.
