A first for St. Paul’s Church in the Jewellery Quarter of Birmingham, and for Jewellery Quarter jazz quintet Timeless, as they bring their brand of jazz to the balcony of the church this Friday 20th November.   This makes for a “rather unique jazz club setting, especially with the licensed bar” according to band leader Thomas Hinks.  “I’m especially looking forward to the amazing acoustics of the church” he went on.

Timeless play an accessible mix of melodic party jazz including swing, Bossa Novas, jazz-blues and ballads - timeless jazz classics from the likes of George Gershwin, Cole Porter, Rodgers and Hart, Miles Davis, Thelonious Monk, Herbie Hancock and many more.  The band have been making quite a name for themselves in the region over the last few months since getting together earlier this year, and are part of The Jazz Collective along with stablemates Jazz Alchemy.

St. Paul’s vicar the Reverend Mary Gilbert extended a warm welcome to jazz lovers saying; "Join us for the perfect end to the working week, wonderful music in a fabulous setting.”
Doors open at 8pm for an 8:30 start with the balcony nicely heated to make a cosy jazz club with licensed bar.
