Bantock House Museum opens its doors for a Spring Gift and Craft Fair this weekend. Local cottage industries have been busy preparing for the event which will champion homegrown talent, with a range of ceramics, mosaics, needlework, papercraft, vintage and contemporary jewellery, candles, homewares, textiles and food and drink.
Councillor John Reynolds, the City of Wolverhampton Council's Cabinet Member for City Economy, said: "We're always looking at ways to attract more people to enjoy Bantock House Museum and Park and next weekend's Fair promises to be great fun for all the family, with something for everyone on sale produced by talented local artists and makers.
"While there, visitors can also enjoy light refreshments in Bantock's popular cafe, which offers an extensive menu including breakfasts, lunches and light refreshments, or take part in our city wide walking challenge Beat the Street, as there are three Beat Boxes in and around the park."
The Spring Gift and Craft Fair takes place at Bantock House Museum from 11am-4.30pm on Saturday and Sunday 12 and 13 March, 2016. Entry is free and there will be different exhibitors each day.
