The Birmingham 2022 Commonwealth Games is coming – be there to witness history in the making. The ticket ballot is open now and will close at 8pm on September 30.

Following the success of the West Midlands ballot, we’re back for the main ticket ballot, which is open now.

Tickets start from £8 for under 16s and £15 for adults, and the majority of tickets are available in this ballot. There are £22 tickets available for every session of the Games, including medal sessions, and for the Opening and Closing Ceremonies.

There are no fees in addition to the cost of your tickets. We hope that instead you might consider donating to our charity partners. These include United By 2022, the legacy charity we’ve established to ensure the legacy and benefits of Birmingham 2022 continue to be delivered in the years following the Games.

With the exception of authorised ticket sellers in some territories, tickets to the Games are only available from Birmingham2022.com. Any other sale of tickets through unofficial agencies or websites is prohibited under the Birmingham Commonwealth Games Act 2020 and tickets will be invalid.

Do not risk missing-out on the action!

From 14-30 July, local residents applied for an early release of tickets in the West Midlands ballot, and the results were confirmed in August. The main ballot is taking place 8–30 September 2021.

The majority of tickets are available in this ballot.

After the closing date, the ballot will be run. If you are successful in securing tickets, you will be notified by email and payment will be taken in full within 72 hours of the email notification.

Please ensure you have sufficient funds to cover the total cost of your ticket request and your payment card hasn’t expired.
