The Black Country Chamber of Commerce have sold all of the stands in record time for their Annual Exhibition this September. This popular event will feature 54 stands which will fill the Wolverhampton Racecourse Ring Side Suite. The exhibition stands are all Chamber members and they will be showcasing their business to fellow networkers from around the region.

The annual event on 17th September is designed to help Black Country Chamber members promote their products and services to local businesses, it is also a great opportunity to make new contacts and share ideas.

Each year around 500 delegates attend during the busy morning looking to meet new contacts, increase their personal networks and catch up with regular clients. There is nothing like having a face to face meeting and at the exhibition there are so many opportunities to achieve the personal touch. The list of companies attending is regularly updated on our website at www.blackcountrychamber.co.uk so delegates can pre-plan who they want to meet.

This year the Chamber is delighted to announce a new sponsor, Burke Bros Moving Group, who were founded in Wolverhampton in 1982.  Managing Director Gary Burke was keen to get involved: “We decided to sponsor the Black Country Chamber of Commerce Annual Exhibition as we can certainly offer something of interest to every organisation or individual attending at some point in time. We believe in keeping business local wherever possible and we wanted to build on the many connections we already have with Chamber members and help them promote themselves around the region.”

One of the regular exhibitors Compact Fork Trucks is excited to be displaying a brand new Hyundai Forklift Truck on their stand. Sales Executive Greg Silvers said: “We see attending the Chamber Annual Exhibition as of great benefit for our business. We can use our presence there to add to our brand visibility in the wider West Midlands area.”

There is something for everyone this year, with the return of the popular pop-up networking and a workshop on tendering. The speed networking time will be announced on the day and the workshop will feature tips and important points when tendering for public sector work, the workshop will be hosted by Andrea Childs, Managing Director of Klick Business Solutions Ltd.

As a membership organisation, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce aims to double the size of the Black Country economy by 2023. The Black Country is the Industrial Heart of the UK, and to ensure the growth of the local economy, the formulation and strengthening of connections between businesses within the region is imperative.
