Blenheim Palace, the birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill, is recognising two further anniversary dates this 2015 with Churchill themed days designed to commemorate a series of special dates.

On the 5th June Blenheim Palace are hosting a special dinner celebrating the life and legacy of Sir Winston Churchill, with limited spaces available. Guests will receive champagne cocktail reception in the Italian Garden Terrace before a four course dinner in the Orangery. Hear a fascinating talk on Churchill and enjoy an appearance from a Churchill character, bringing his history to life. The evening will be complete with a tasting of Churchill's favourite cigars and ports at the Water Terraces. Each guest will take away 'The Quotable Winston Churchill: A collection of Wit and Wisdom'.*
D Day on Saturday 6th June will be commemorated at Blenheim Palace with a visit from Winston Churchill himself, a special Churchill impersonator, complete with a replica of Churchill's vehicle. The RAF Hilman Staff Car, with driver in uniform, would have been used for airport transportation during the time. There will also be a wartime motorcycle in the Grand Court meeting visitors as they discover more about World War II and the life of Churchill.
From 5th – 7th June Blenheim Palace's Great Courtyard will contain a Spitfire plane for visitors to see and experience up close. There will be special Churchill tours running enabling all the family to learn more about Sir Winston Churchill.
Walk in Churchill's Footsteps on the new indoor and outdoor trail journeying through the life and achievements of Churchill. This trail showcases some of the key moments in his life, from the room in which he was born inside the Palace, through the grounds he explored as a child and the spot in which he proposed, to his place of rest in St Martin's church yard in the neighbouring village of Bladon.
Finish the day in the new Churchill Exhibition with never-been –seen –before artefacts and references to life events including the proposal to his wife Clementine. The exhibition has been brought to life with photos, video, extracts from his diaries and a number of other elements, giving visitors a real sense of our 'Greatest Briton'.
On Saturday 28 November, to celebrate Sir Winston Churchill's birthday – 30th November, Blenheim Palace will again have Churchill (impersonator) in attendance. Visitors will have the chance to learn more about the life of Churchill by experiencing all the Churchill commemorative activities outlined, as well as explore the new Memorial Garden designed by Kim Wilkie.

Dine in the style of Winston Spencer Churchill with a glass of his favourite Champagne, Pol Roger Brut Réserve NV, followed by delicious afternoon tea in Blenheim Palace's Champagne Bar or Indian Room. Visitors can also order Blenheim Palace picnics to enjoy in the Parkland.
