In celebration of this summer’s major sporting event taking place in Brazil, Victorian Arcade will be hosting their very own carnival celebrations on Saturday 6th August, the day after Rio’s official opening ceremony. Running from 11am to 4pm the carnival event is set to bring the party atmosphere of Brazil to Walsall and will feature a whole host of entertainment and activities for families to enjoy.
With colourful salsa stilt walkers who will entertain shoppers with their circus skills, a free face painter, an all-round entertainer and a full steel band who will be perfoming a variety of hits to heighten the summer atmoshphere, the day is sure to be a hit with visitors of all ages.
Furthermore, the shopping arcade with be adorned with a variety of Brazilian inspired props enabling shoppers to pose for photos as if they were truly thousands of miles away in the South American sunshine.
