Visitors to the Eden Project will be invited to free-range all over the gardens this Easter holiday for a collection of cracking egg-themed activities. The Giant Obsteggcle Course will see people test their skill and speed by scrambling over a super-sized obstacle course in a race to return their egg to its eggcup while there are also egg-hunts which will take visitors across the Eden site offering two levels of challenge – hard-boiled and over-easy. Anyone who finds a golden egg can take it to the Eggs-change to claim a prize.

Traditional fairground games with an eggy twist will be available throughout the holiday, including hook-a-duck (or other egg-laying animals) and an egg shy. Budding marksmen can try their hand at firing a fried egg at a frying pan and an Easter-themed crazy golf course will also be available.

There will be an eggucational trail throughout Eden, giving visitors the opportunity to learn about interesting and unusual animal eggs and nests as well as storytelling in the Mediterranean Biome.

Tim Hardy, Eden Live Project Lead, said: “Easter at Eden promises to be a full box of free-range fun. We have fabulous egg hunts and our challenging obsteggcle course alongside a whole load of other activities. Our outlook will definitely be sunny side up this Easter and we'd like everyone to come along and join in the fun!”

The Eden Project will be blooming with spring colour for Easter, with a profusion of tulips in the Mediterranean Biome, British wildflowers such as bluebells, primroses, violets and campion outdoors and flowering palms and jade vines in the Rainforest Biome.
