KGM Motors UK was proud to support serving RAF Regiment personnel from Field Support, IFPT, as they completed the UK Three Peaks Challenge in aid of Combat Stress, the UK’s leading charity for veterans’ mental health.

On 2 May 2026, the team began the demanding 24-hour challenge, climbing Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike and Snowdon, the highest mountains in Scotland, England and Wales. Over the day and night, they covered 26 miles on foot and over 1,000 miles by car between peaks, demonstrating exceptional endurance, teamwork, and resilience to complete the route on schedule. To help the team deliver the challenge safely and efficiently, KGM UK provided two award-winning Musso Saracens to support logistics across the full journey.

Reliable transport played an essential role in keeping the operation moving between locations, enabling the team to focus on the physical demands of each ascent and the discipline required to maintain momentum through a tightly timed schedule. A spokesperson for the Field Support IFPT team said, “Completing the Three Peaks was a huge test, but we were determined to see it through for Combat Stress. The charity’s work for veterans’ mental health is vital, and we wanted every mile and every climb to count.

The practical support we received helped us keep the challenge running smoothly and stay focused on the mission.” Kevin Griffin, Managing Director at KGM Motors UK, added “We are proud to have supported the Field Support IFPT team as they completed an outstanding Three Peaks Challenge for Combat Stress.

“This was a demanding undertaking that required determination, planning and teamwork, and the cause is an important one. Providing two Musso Saracens was a practical way for us to support their operation and help the team concentrate on completing the challenge and raising awareness for veterans’ mental health.” Combat Stress provides specialist, life-changing support to former service personnel experiencing mental health challenges such as PTSD, anxiety and depression.

The charity delivers clinical treatment and support services, including therapy, counselling and community-based care, and relies heavily on donations to continue reaching veterans who need help. The Field Support IFPT team continues to encourage donations to support Combat Stress and help ensure veterans across the UK can access the care they need.
