The city of Kyoto is getting ready to welcome thousands of manga and anime fans as the final stages of preparation for the fourth Kyoto International Manga Anime Fair 2015 take place. The creative show for fans of the Japanese art form will open at Miyakomesse, Kyoto's International Manga Museum on 19 and 20 September 2015. International tourists can embrace the popular Japanese culture for free by showing their passport on arrival at the event. Fans can explore several zones including a shopping zone, a stage demonstration area featuring anime and character contests, as well as a food area featuring dining options with popular character-themed choices. The annual exhibition will be used as a platform to showcase Japanese anime and manga culture whilst connecting young creators. Visitors will also be given the chance to see brand-new Japanese manga and anime works and meet anime producers and broadcasting companies.

The doors to the fair will open at 9am each day and for those looking to make the most of their visit to the exhibition and experience the Museum too, separate tickets can also be purchased.
