One of the most influential Hip Hop groups of all time, Public Enemy, will now be headlining the Friday night of this years Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul as a replacement for Sugarhill Gang & Furious Five feat. Melle Mel & Scorpio who are no longer able to perform.

Unfortunately Sugarhill Gang and Furious Five feat. Melle Mel & Scorpio will be unable to appear at the first leg of the European tour due to health issues which sadly rules them out of this years Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul.

A spokesperson said: “We profusely apologize for any and all inconveniences. No one is hurting more over this than the group(s), who have ever never cancelled a show in the history of their touring career.”

There are a lot of people who were looking forward to Sugarhill Gang and Furious Five feat. Melle Mel & Scorpio so in doing everything in their power, the organisers have delivered what is set to be one of THE most iconic shows ever at Mostly Jazz Funk & Soul.

Public Enemy will be arriving at Moseley Park with their multi gold and platinum back catalogue to ignite the Friday night completing a seminal Hip Hop line up alongside The Pharcyde.
