Rockschool, the leading authority on rock and pop exams worldwide have announced a one-off taster session at PMT in Birmingham with metal and rock legend Jason Bowld.
Jason will be holding a live drum session from 11:00am for beginner drummers, as well as offering free one-to-one lessons throughout the day. The event will be an ideal opportunity to get first-hand hints and tips from one of the biggest drummers in rock and metal. PMT will also be giving free lessons on all instruments, so whether you have always wanted to play or used to play, this is the day for you!
Jason's session will cover the following:
- How to hold the sticks
- Sticking patterns and techniques
- Common problems and how to overcome them
- Rockschool grades, technical exercises and performance pieces
- Stylistic techniques, fills and grooves
