From 30 April – 2 May, fans should get ready to join in a galaxy of Star Wars™ themed activities, featuring the brand new 500,000 brick Lego Star Wars Death Star model, as the Force returns stronger than ever to the Legoland Windsor Resort. Guests are invited to dress up and enter the daily costume competition and Lego Star Wars™ characters will meet and greet guests throughout the weekend.

In just six weeks The Way Youth Zone has smashed its yearly membership target, as 3,000 young people from across Wolverhampton are now using the city’s new state-of-the-art facility. Young people are travelling far and wide from across the whole of Wolverhampton, with some members even coming from areas like Walsall and Staffordshire to access the state-of-the-art facility on School Street.

This Easter, Tesco has launched a 'guess what's in the egg' competition to raise money for Help for Heroes. Tesco created an exclusive Help for Heroes chocolate Easter egg in 456 of its Superstores and Extra's stores across the UK donating all 100% profits to the charity.  To celebrate the charitable egg, Tesco has designed a giant six foot replica which took centre stage in the foyer of its Sandhurst Extra store.  

2016 marks the 300th anniversary of the original celebrity gardener Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown and Compton Verney - which re-opened for 2016 on the 19th March – has a packed programme of unique events to celebrate. Brown literally changed the landscape of 18th-century England; designing stunning vistas for the gentry by moving hills, creating rivers and lakes in his quest to shape nature to his remarkable vision.

With an estimated 122% increase in complaints received by the RSPCA over the last five years, a premium on pedigree animals could be behind the rise. Competitions such as Crufts showcase purebred dogs from a variety of breeds but a lack of awareness on the part of those looking to buy an animal may be helping to boost the trade in trafficking.

In celebration of the Easter weekend children’s favourite Peppa Pig will be coming to Victorian Arcade in Walsall to see her fans on Saturday 26th March. Providing the perfect opportunity for some family fun, the cheeky little piggy will be making personal appearances at intervals between 11.30am and 4.30pm and will be hoping to find some muddy puddles to enjoy.

Visitors to the Eden Project will be invited to free-range all over the gardens this Easter holiday for a collection of cracking egg-themed activities. The Giant Obsteggcle Course will see people test their skill and speed by scrambling over a super-sized obstacle course in a race to return their egg to its eggcup while there are also egg-hunts which will take visitors across the Eden site offering two levels of challenge – hard-boiled and over-easy.

Bantock House Museum opens its doors for a Spring Gift and Craft Fair this weekend. Visitors to Sea Life London Aquarium can experience the magical polar ice worlds of BBC Earth's epic natural history series: Frozen Planet in a new permanent attraction opening on March 25th 2016. Visitors will follow in the footsteps of the BBC's intrepid film crews, encountering a polar bear and her cubs and killer whales, as the incredible icy wilderness featured in the series, comes to life using breathtaking augmented reality. 

People of Stourbridge, customers old and new, were celebrating the unveiling of the stunning £200,000 investment at the Lawnswood pub. Owen Lowther, General Manager, said: “Even I was blown away by the final look and I’d seen the plans!
