Turtle hatching remains an experience to be remembered in Seychelles - last week it was guests at the Constance Lemuria of Praslin who enjoyed this amazing experience. Constance Lemuria Seychelles has been working on strict conservation measures at the resort of Praslin and tourists recently were all treated to an experience that will be remembered as hundreds and hundreds of baby turtles made their way to the sea under the watchful eye of wardens.

The Lemuria Resort of Praslin has seen more and more turtles coming back to its main beach to lay their eggs and this shows clearly that the protection concept being implemented by Bruno Le Gac, the GM of the resort and his team is paying off. "Guests were all treated to this great spectacle. Hundreds of baby turtles paraded into the sea as they popped up from under the sand where their nest had been carefully marked and protected"said Mr Le Gac. The Constance Lemuria is one of the Resorts in Seychelles now moving to formally apply to be classified as a Sustainable Tourism Product in Seychelles. This will ensure they appear in all the dedicated publicity material being prepared for hotels and resorts in Seychelles that have received the Seychelles Sustainable Tourism Label.
