The ‘Hope in Every Beat’ fundraiser was held at Crib in Southampton, in the UK.
Organised by Blocwave Events, IYO Live, and Lamp Post Live, the event saw emerging artists, DJs, and food vendors gather to help raise funds for the ‘Jamaica Red Cross’ and ‘Jamaica Food For The Poor’.
Dre Bridges, owner of Blocwave Events, said: "The night went amazingly, as it was our first event, we were quite sceptical about whether we could pull it off or not, but the place got really busy, and everyone had a really good time.
"It felt good to bring some Caribbean culture to Southampton. Being half Jamaican and half English myself and having family that has been affected by the disaster, Jamaica has helped shaped a lot of British culture from the food we eat, way we talk and the music we listen to.
"It felt good to help give back to the people in a time of need." Performances on the night included Drestar, Vinyl, DJ Flava, Puwa, and a surprise performance by Milson, and more.
