The Black Country Chamber of Commerce are delighted to announce that they have appointed Keith Bryan as the new Chief Executive. After qualifying as an accountant whilst in the engineering industry, Keith joined the Tarmac Group and rose ‘through the ranks’ to eventually be Managing Director of the £350 million turnover building materials business and a member of the Tarmac Group Executive Committee.

Since leaving Tarmac, Keith was Non-Executive Director (& Vice-Chair) at New Cross Hospital from 2005 to 2012. Whilst at New Cross, Keith was Chair of the Audit, Charities, Finance and Performance Committees and acted as Chairman for two spells.

Commenting on the new appointment Keith Bryan said: “I am pleased to be appointed the new Chief Executive of the Black Country Chamber of Commerce. This is an exciting time for the Chamber and I am delighted to be a part of this journey moving forward. The Chamber is an excellent business support organisation that helps local Black Country businesses to succeed and this is something I am keen to promote.”

Ninder Johal, Black Country Chamber of Commerce President, added: “I am excited for this change at the Chamber and to have such a figure spearheading this new chapter. Keith has a wealth of experience and knowledge to bring to his new role. As I enter the last few months of my Presidency, I am encouraged that I will hand over the role with the Chamber in a strong position.”

The Black Country Chamber are moving forward in 2016 with a new Chief Executive in place to help support the growth and future of the Chamber.
