Now that the qualifying playoffs of the UEFA 2024 European Championships have begun, interest is drumming up for this summer's tournament, and so, has opened up another opportunity for fans to purchase tickets.

If you weren't lucky enough to purchase any tickets in the original sales, the ticketing experts at SeatPick have provided expert advice on how you can secure tickets from the official resales. Gilad Zilberman provides knowledge on how to secure exclusive, high-demand tickets for the UEFA 2024 Championships:

1. Access the official resale platform - As of March 21st, UEFA opened up the official Euro 2024 ticket resale window, which is an opportunity for current match ticket holders to offer any remaining unwanted tickets for resale. This will run until 15 April, allowing fans to list any further unwanted tickets for official resale. After this phase closes, the tickets will be made available for purchase at the beginning of May.

2. Keep an eye on UEFAs website - The anticipated number of tickets available for resale in this second phase is expected to be extremely low. But this isn't the final ticket sale, UEFA plans to introduce additional tickets through the last-minute ticket sales, commencing simultaneously. This may include some restricted view tickets and any extra tickets that become available following the finalisation of stadium arrangements, which will confirm the total number of seats. This final sale will continue until all tickets are sold out, presenting the last opportunity for fans to acquire a ticket before the tournament kicks off this June.

3. Look into secondary resale options - If you are still unfortunate in purchasing your tickets, look into authoritative third-party resale sites such as SeatPick, where you can compare ticket sites to find the best deals on the market with no hidden fees.

3. Do your research beforehand - But be wary of scam sites and never allow someone to send you a screenshot of a ticket (as these are invalid), or send payment before receiving tickets. Remember, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is!

4. Never refresh the page - Once you are in the ticket queue, never be tempted to refresh. You may lose all your hard work and get kicked to the back of the very long queue. Being patient and not panicking is key to success.

5. One tab only - You may think that opening multiple windows can increase your chances of bagging tickets, but actually, this can work against you. You may encounter errors when trying to purchase tickets or worse, get kicked out of the queue, so it’s best to only have the ticket portal open in one tab.

6. Don't Give Up: tickets may reappear post sell-out - Missed the tickets? Be sure to check back on the sites after they say they're sold out. Sometimes ticket payments don't go through, the website crashes and more tickets are still available. Keep checking for roughly two hours after release.

 You might just be lucky!
