The 2024 Golden Globes shined a light on the year's best in film and television.

The French film ‘Anatomy of a Fall’ - the story of the trial of a writer accused of murdering her husband, and the dissection of their complex marriage - won two Golden Globes at an awards ceremony dominated by the biopic 'Oppenheimer'. It was awarded best screenplay and best non-English language film at the awards ceremony Sunday night in Beverly Hills, California.

Meanwhile, going into the ceremony, Greta Gerwig's ‘Barbie’, starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, led with the most nominations of any movie this year, whilst in the TV categories, the final season of ‘Succession’ earned the most nods. This year, two new categories were introduced: cinematic and box office achievement, and best performance in stand-up comedy.
