Full-service Midlands/local marketing agency Gough Bailey Wright (GBW) welcomed Bromsgrove MP, Sajid Javid to its offices to help celebrate the company’s 80th birthday. The award-winning firm’s celebrations saw a Fish and Chip van arrive at St. Johns house, surprising everyone with a tasty lunch which was thoroughly enjoyed by the team and Sajid Javid. Founded as advertising agency Tom C Gough and Partners back in 1936, GBW has become the oldest independently owned agency in the West Midlands. Eighty years on the company’s grown to offer fully integrated marketing services, including PR, social, digital, creative and a specialist property communications team. Since their management buyout in 2005, Sue Bailey and Michelle Wright have taken GBW from strength to strength, more than doubling in size and evolving to provide the full suite of marketing disciplines. Sue Bailey, Managing Director comments: “It’s fantastic to reach such a milestone in the company’s history is a credit to all those who have gone before us and the current team. We were grateful to Sajid for taking time out of his hectic schedule to join us for the celebration lunch of fish and chips. It was a great day.

“As a company we look forward to another 80 years of providing award winning marketing to a variety of local, national and regional clients.”
