Honourable Institution are inviting people to participate in the upcoming OIC Investment Forum in Africa, which is taking place from December 2 to 4, 2025, at the International Conference Centre of Bamako (CICB), to be organized by the Islamic Centre for Development of Trade (ICDT), in collaboration with the Islamis Development Bank Group and its Business Forum (THIQAH) as well as the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Mali, under the Presidency of His Excellency the President of the Transition, Head of State of the Republic of Mali and His Excellency the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC).
This year’s Forum, held under the theme “Unlocking Africa’s Investment Potential”, is a strategic platform dedicated to promoting Africa as a prime destination for investment from OIC Member States. It brings together government leaders, investment promotion agencies, international institutions, and private sector stakeholders to engage in actionable dialogue and deal-making.
The agenda will feature:
- Presentations on key investment opportunities across vital sectors such as mining (gold, iron, copper), agriculture and agro-processing, fisheries, fertilizers, oil and gas, renewable energy, tourism, telecommunications, infrastructure, and manufacturing (wood, electrical, mechanical, and plastic industries);
- A detailed overview of incentives and facilitation measures offered by participating countries;
- High-level discussions on the role of financial institutions in mobilizing capital for impactful, large-scale projects.

- High-level Investment Panels with the participation of opinion leaders, decision-makers and experts to discuss investment strategies, opportunities and challenges. These panels aim to mobilize financing, promote investment-friendly policies and stimulate economic growth;
- Deal Rooms: dedicated spaces for exploring the business environment and investment projects supported by financial institutions and strategic partners;
- Sectoral panels on topics related to Africa-OIC development and investment promotion, including industrialization, sustainable finance, food and health security, women entrepreneurship and youth employment opportunities;
- Investment Promotion Agencies (IPAs) Exhibition: a prime platform to highlight national expertise in investment promotion and foster the exchange of experiences with African countries.
