Peloton instructor, Kristin McGee, known for her inspirational yoga, meditation and Pilates classes, has announced that she will be running the upcoming TCS London Marathon on behalf of UK based charity Sporting Equals.

Kristin has decided to take her passion for fitness onto the streets of London and, on April 21, she will join over 45,000 other runners to complete the 26.2-mile course, all in support of Sporting Equals' mission to ensure that everyone, regardless of race, background, or ability, has access to sport and physical activity. “I’m running the London Marathon,” said Kristin McGee via her Instagram profile.

“This is my first time ever running a marathon. It’s been a goal of mine for a while; but I never had the courage to see it through.

“After riding 58 miles last summer, I realized I can do anything I put my head and heart into." Sporting Equals is the UK charity partner for Peloton.

They are dedicated to championing ethnic diversity within the UK Sports Sector and breaking down barriers to participation. Through various initiatives and programs, including the back2active program in partnership with Peloton, the charity strives to create a more ethnically inclusive and equitable sports sector.

"We are thrilled to have Kristin McGee join us in our mission to promote diversity and equality in sports," said Arun Kang OBE, CEO of Sporting Equals. "Her decision to run the London Marathon on our behalf is a testament to her commitment to making a positive impact to championing ethnic diversity in the fitness community and beyond.

“We are incredibly grateful for her support and look forward to cheering her on every step of the way." Kristin's participation in the London Marathon represents a unique opportunity to raise awareness and funds for Sporting Equals while inspiring others to pursue their fitness goals and contribute to meaningful causes.
