Birmingham property consultancy Johnson Fellows has grown its property management team as the city centre firm continues to go from strength to strength.
Johnson Fellows has welcomed Paul Evans to its team as client accountant, where he will support the financial administration of the company’s retail, office and industrial property portfolios on behalf of landlords, investors and property owners. He joins from estates and lettings agency Oakmans, where he was responsible for the entire finance function of the business, including all client accounts which included over 1,800 landlords and more than 3,000 tenants, as well as overseeing money laundering requirements and annual Safe Agent compliance audits.
Paul Evans said: “It’s fantastic to have joined the team at Johnson Fellows.
“Having started my career in accountancy back in 1988, I’ve built extensive experience in client accounting and property finance over the years and I’m looking forward to bringing this expertise to my new role and supporting the continued growth of the company.” Ian Starbuck, partner and head of the property management team, said: “It’s great to welcome Paul to the team.
“His impressive background in client accounting and property finance makes him a valuable addition to the team and further strengthens the high level of support and expertise we provide to our clients.” Johnson Fellows is a commercial property agency established in Birmingham in 1984, with additional offices in London and Manchester.
The company acts for a wide range of clients, including retailers, investors, developers and financiers providing services such as agency, lease advisory, property management, building surveying, and valuation.
