As it celebrates the 600th birthday of its historic Auld Keep, luxury venue Dundas Castle has launched a series of unique dinner packages. Created specifically for groups, the dinners take place within the historic and atmospheric surroundings of the Auld Keep.

While the usual requirement is for visitors to take the whole castle on an exclusive use basis, the 600th birthday dinners represent a break from tradition and for the year of celebrations, are available without the need to hire the venue as a whole.

Featuring eight courses such as roe deer tartare, local lamb with anchovy and whipped buttermilk with sea buckthorn syrup, each course comes with perfectly matched wines and is expertly served, creating a superb overall experience. Available for a group of up to 20 diners, the menu starts at £150 per head and has been created by Dundas Castle's exclusive catering providers, Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events.

Owner, Sir Jack Stewart-Clark comments: “Marking the 600th birthday of a building requires a big celebration!  These dinners are totally unique and offer a one-off opportunity for our guests to enjoy the surroundings of our historic and beautiful Keep. As one of Scotland's oldest venues, the Keep has in its lifetime has been a prison, a home, a fortress, a RAF base and is now a stunning events venue.”
