Local housing group, Wolverhampton Homes, has become a Founder Patron of ‘The Way’ with less than 50 days to go until the £6m facility open’s on January 16th 2016.  The Way will transform the lives of young people by giving them ‘somewhere to go, something to do and someone to talk to.’ Wolverhampton Homes manage and look after more than 23,000 homes on behalf of Wolverhampton City Council.

Lesley Roberts, chief executive of Wolverhampton Homes said:

“I love the fact that we’re a Founder Patron of The Way. We look after 23,000 council homes so think of all those youngsters looking for things to do. I can’t wait to encourage and support them to use The Way. It will bring so many benefits to the city and the youngsters living here. They’ll be able to try new things as well as meet youngsters from other areas, so it will boost their confidence.”

“The Way will enable the young people of Wolverhampton to raise their aspirations and develop confidence, creating a happier, healthier generation. We are thrilled that Wolverhampton Homes is supporting us. Their support, so close to us opening will aid in our quest to change the lives of thousands of young people across the city.”

Wolverhampton Homes is investing £25,000 a year over the next three years.
