Irene Sinclair has lived most of her life quietly as teacher, wife and mum. But that life changed in ten years ago when she stumbled into modelling. Getting that surprise visit from modelling agent looking for the perfect elderly face for Dove campaign. Irene thought it was a silly joke or they may have missed their way somehow. But no.   10 years on, Irene Sinclair has had the time of her life, the adventure has take her to places, her face on several billboards across cities and cover of glossy magazines.  She has even turned down Oprah’s invitation for an interview .

However, in this exclusive interview with veteran journalist Sherry Dixon, for Pearlwoman  magazine, the 106 year old Dove model reveals her secret to a long healthy life.  For the first time talked about her first date and the gifts she received.

Going even more personal to reveal  her early days, growing  up in Georgetown, Guyana, childhood days playing outdoors, her school days, about her teachers as role models, her very strict parents and the pain of losing a beloved  sister.

Like never before, Irene tells  of her reason for leaving Guyana to move to London. She recalls memories of  her early years in London. The things that matter, the things in vogue for a young woman. Irene was visibly happy remembering her invitation to attend the Queen mother’s birthday party in her later years.  The joy of a life beautifully and peaceful fulfilled is palpable in this all new interview as seen in the next issue of PearlWoman Magazine issue 2, #BeautifulWrinkles. Out on August 28.
