A magical new experience is coming to Warwick Arts Centre this Christmas. The Lost Gift is a new interactive winter adventure for children aged 4+, which invites families to step into a magical story that they walk though and help create. A host of charming characters will guide visitors on a beautifully designed journey deep underground, up into the sky and away to a land of snow on a quest to solve the mystery of The Lost Gift.

The world of The Lost Gift will be created within the walls of the venue’s large Mead Gallery. The story and performance have been devised by Highly Sprung , a Coventry-based physical theatre company who make original work for children and young people that combines text and movement. The challenge of transforming an art gallery into a fantastic wintry world is met by Vortex Creates, another local company known for large-scale costumes and event design.

Matt Burman, Head of Programme and Audience at Warwick Arts Centre said: “We’re delighted to be producing this new Christmas adventure with local companies Highly Sprung and Vortex Creates. We’re looking forward to welcoming people of all ages, both old and new friends of the Arts Centre, to experience, together with family andfriends, this very special event.

This promises to be unlike anything you’ve seen or heard at the Arts Centre before...” The Lost Gift will run alongside Warwick Arts Centre’s Christmas show this year, The Gruffalo’s Child from Tall Stories and Kenny Wax Family Entertainment Ltd. Both events are running throughout the festive period, and tickets are available at warwickartscentre.co.uk.
