Carbis Bay Estate are delighted to announce the launch of the Treloyhan Residences, an exquisite addition to its new Carbis Bay Estate Collection of managed luxury accommodation in West Cornwall.
Boasting a prime location, surrounded by subtropical gardens overlooking the azure waters of St Ives Bay, with St Ives on one side and Godrevy Lighthouse across the bay, Treloyhan Manor was built in 1892 by local shipping magnate, Edward Hain. The Manor was his private family home, designed by Silvanus Trevail, one of the most famous Cornish architects of the 19th century, and who also designed the main Carbis Bay Hotel.
Today, Treloyhan is transformed into a breath-taking home that offers serviced accommodation for guests looking for an incredibly special experience. The residences combine the highest level of comfort and design with the warm welcome and service that Carbis Bay Estate is so well known for.
There are eighteen residences to choose from, ranging from 1, 2 and 3 bedrooms through to 2-bedroom townhouses with bedrooms on the ground floor, and living areas on the first floor to take full advantage of the views across the bay and gardens. The residences have state of the art kitchens, exquisite furniture, and soft furnishings to create a stylish and comfortable base in which to explore Cornwall.
The original gardens provide guests with patio areas for dining, and seating in which to enjoy the fauna and flora of the gardens and creeping sea views, excellent entertaining spaces. Treloyhan guests have access to the facilities at C Bay Spa and all the restaurants on the Carbis Bay Estate, looked after by the excellent Carbis Bay concierges, who reside on site in the lobby to assist with any requests – from spa bookings, tours and more.
Guests can pre-book private chefs to provide BBQ's in the grounds, or to cook in the comfort of the residences. The Treloyhan Concierge is also available before and during stays to assist with making restaurant bookings, stocking of individual apartments, spa bookings, and restaurant bookings, and in organising local tours, visits, and leisure activities.
Treloyhan is conveniently placed to stroll into St Ives to the West and Carbis Bay to the East along the South West Coast Path which can be directly accessed from the gardens, making it the perfect base for a break in West Cornwall. Stephen Baker, owner of Carbis Bay Estate said “We are delighted to be expanding our serviced accommodation offering with this wonderful building that sits well alongside our existing portfolio.
“It is vital to us that our guests experience the same level of luxury and outstanding service throughout the Estate, and with the launch of Treloyhan we are excited to showcase the best of Carbis Bay under our new Carbis Bay Collection brand.” Carbis Bay Estate continues to set the standard for luxury hospitality in Cornwall, and the Treloyhan Residences mark a new chapter in providing discerning travellers with an unparalleled coastal retreat.
This launch reaffirms the estate's commitment to delivering exceptional hospitality experiences and creating lasting memories for its guests.
