Black Tomato have unveiled new immersive Set Jetting itineraries, inspired by two of TV's most dynamic series – 'Yellowstone' and 'Ripley'.

Demand for cinematic-influenced travel experiences has exponentially increased in the decade since Black Tomato pioneered Set Jetting in 2014. Today, active and aspirational travellers alike are drawn to Set Jetting - the desire to travel to destinations and immerse oneself in experiences that encompass the backdrops and plotlines for iconic television dramas and films.

Black Tomato continues to evolve its expansive portfolio with new tailormade experiences designed to bring travellers closer to a more immersive side of these pop-cultural locales. While 'Yellowstone' and 'Ripley,' represent vastly different topographies and narrative arcs, both shows capture an extraordinary sense of place and these itineraries are brimming with inspiring experiences closely tied to each series.

Black Tomato has developed these itineraries through extensive research on the ground, ensuring authenticity, while delivering special access and thoughtfully designed, expert-led experiences, which is tip to toe dramatic escapism at its best. Those looking for a unique Italian summer getaway will revel in an exclusive evening tour of Rome tracing Tom Ripley's getaway in the same vintage iconic Fiat 500, the very same model featured in the show, through the ancient Roman Appian Way.

Meanwhile, others will find solace sleeping under the stars in an exclusive, bespoke glamping base in a remote corner just outside of Yellowstone National Park's Paradise Valley that inspired the series. Black Tomato co-founder, Tom Marchant, said: “It's a delight to bring two extraordinary series I love, 'Yellowstone' and 'Ripley,' to life in travel, and humbling to see how the trend of Set Jetting has evolved since we launched our first series in 2014 with the likes of 'Breaking Bad', 'Twin Peaks' and countless others.

“For me, Set Jetting's continued popularity speaks to an increased desire to connect purposefully with film, literature, and theatre, which in turn uncovers a fascinating relationship between places, landscapes and fiction. It is our belief that these new forays into Yellowstone and Ripley will deliver magic, inspiration and intrigue.”

Itinerary experiences include:

  • Sunset Cattle Drive: Travellers will set off in the early evening to learn the history behind cattle driving and try their hand at essential rodeo skills and get a feel for how challenging cattle ranching can be (followed by a cold one watching the cold Montana sky). Upon arrival you will be greeted by wranglers and learn about the history of their ranch and Jackson Hole - then a horse whisperer, inspired by the character Rip Wheeler, will lead a demonstration that shows how the old way of “breaking” horses has given way to a new technique of building trust. You will then be paired with a performance horse and, with the guidance of a wrangler, catch, halter, groom and saddle up.
  • Dinner Experience with The Generational Cowboys of Jackson Hole: Dine with one of the founding families of Jackson Hole that are still active within the community today, at Snake River Grill. Travellers will experience a first-hand account of how Jackson Hole has developed over time and learn about the true cowboy culture Jackson Hole was founded upon, echoing closely the plight of the Dutton's.
  • Privately Guided Half-Day Yellowstone Lamar Valley Tour: The mecca for migrating wildlife in the Yellowstone ecosystem, this is where travellers will have the greatest chances of spotting the famous pack of wolves that make their home in this valley. Ample chances to view other wildlife including American bison, pronghorn antelope, black bears, grizzly bears, and many bird species.
