Hollywood actor, Kiefer Sutherland, has just unveiled his new whisky to the UK - Red Bank - a premium Canadian whisky, paying tribute to Kiefer's Canadian roots and love of the spirit.

This is the first UK launch of its kind for the actor and musician. The multi-award-winning star can currently be seen in “The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial" from the late award-winning director William Friedkin, based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel by Herman Wouk for Paramount Global and Showtime, in which he was nominated for a Critics Choice Award for his performance.

Upcoming, he will be in Warner Brothers' "Juror No. 2", directed by Clint Eastwood. Commenting on the launch, Founder of Red Bank Whisky, Kiefer, said: “The thing that I found so fascinating about Red Bank and this journey developing the whisky is the incredible pride Canadians take in themselves and their country.

"I was born in England and I know the British people feel the same, but I grew up in Canada and one of the things that I've admired about Canada is its great diversity not just in its landscapes and culture, but it's people as well. I am proud to have Red Bank represent all that is authentically Canadian and I am absolutely thrilled to bring it to the UK with the help of Mangrove Global.”

Red Bank Whisky embodies good taste, good times, good friends and the rich heritage and tradition of Canadian whisky. A masterful blend and balance of rye, corn and wheat whiskies, Red Bank Whisky stands out as a smooth, master distilled, premium spirit with a taste that captures the essence of Canada, as evidenced by claiming Gold this year at the world-renowned San Francisco World Spirits Competition.

The rye and wheat whiskies are aged in new American oak barrels, while the corn whisky is aged in bourbon barrels, maintaining its balance and developing its complexity - something you can bank on. Red Bank's award-winning master distiller, Michel Marcil, has carefully developed Red Bank with the desire to create a premium Canadian Whisky that appeals to both the experienced whisky drinkers and whisky novices alike.

On the nose, the whisky features sumptuous oat spices and orchard fruits with scents of sweet caramel. On the palate, you can expect a dry spirit of medium intensity - a must try for all whisky drinkers.

Non-chilled - filtered and bottled at 40% this premium blended Canadian whisky is full of sweet, oaky character. Red Bank is on sale now at Master of Malt (RRP £49).

The whisky pays tribute to Red Bank, situated on Canada's Atlantic Coast where some of the world's finest whisky is now being crafted.  A place where granite rocks slope to meet the sea and stories are carried on the wind like campfire smoke.

A place where moments are shared and music moves to the measure of ocean waves. Red Bank Whisky is a smooth, premium spirit distilled to be enjoyed with friends. And fortunately, everyone's a friend around a bottle of Red Bank.
