Families looking for a great value day out with the kids over the Easter holidays are being invited to hop along to one of Severn Trent’s visitor sites!

The Easter Bunny has left a trail of eggs around three reservoirs – Draycote Water in Derbyshire, Tittesworth Water in Staffordshire and Warwickshire’s Carsington Water – and visitors can pick up a sheet, follow the trail and answer some questions to win a prize. The trails run between 10am – 6pm, until Sunday 14th April.

There’s no need to pre-book and trail sheets can be picked up from the visitor centre for £3, with a prize for each completed sheet (non-chocolate alternative prizes are
available). Donna Marshall, Senior Visitor Engagement Officer said: “Our trails offer a fantastic day out for the family and a great activity for parents looking for ways to keep the kids entertained during the Easter break.

“Our sites provide a perfect day out for the whole family, with all of our usual on-site activities alongside the trails.” Located in beautiful countryside settings, Draycot, Carsington and Tittesworth Water provide visitors with a great value day out and a range of activities on site, from bird watching to watersports.

Circular routes run around many Severn Trent reservoirs, providing great opportunities to walk, run or cycle, and while amenities differ from site-to-site, there are also visitor centres and cafes offering food and refreshments and children’s play areas to keep the kids entertained while the grown-ups catch their breath! On-site parking charges apply.
