With the celebrity chefs we have lined up to appear at this year's Nantwich Food Festival in September, you can expect to see some hot, sizzling cooking demonstrations at what promises to be the best festival yet! On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th September 2016 The Nantwich Food Festival is one of the largest events of its kind in Europe and this year it will be featuring two famous chefs who everyone who knows anything about food will recognise - including the Prime Minister!

Nadiya Hussain, winner of The Great British Bake-Off in 2015, will be one of the main attractions this year. Her big fat British Wedding Cake stole the show in the final, so you can expect to witness more from a talented cook who can turn her hand not just to cakes but all types of cooking.

Nadiya comments: “This year has been brilliantly busy. It will be such a delight to come to Nantwich and demonstrate some of the recipes from my new book, Nadiya's Kitchen which I'll also be signing. ”

Nadiya will be appearing at the Nantwich Food Festival on Friday 2 September.

No international food festival would be complete without some French cooking and one of the best people to demonstrate this is Michelin award winning chef, Jean Christophe Novelli.

The celebrity chef first came to national attention in the hit show Hell's Kitchen more than a decade ago and despite his no nonsense treatment of the contestants, he still left a lasting impression on viewers.

He is keen to promote healthy cooking and you can expect his demonstrations to continue with the theme of using less of the kind of ingredients which can have an impact on health.

Jean Christophe comments: "I am delighted to be attending the Nantwich food festival this year. I look forward to meeting the local people and businesses.  My demonstrations will be packed with top tips on how to cook delicious healthy dishes which are simple to recreate. I am excited to show how you can cut out salt, sugar and saturated fats without compromising on flavour."

Jean Christophe Novelli will be headlining on Sunday.
