Charities and community groups across Birmingham are invited to apply for a share of a new nationwide £60,000 community initiative*.
To celebrate its 60th anniversary, Anglian Home Improvements has launched its 60 for 60 community campaign that gives back to the very heart of Britain, its communities. The initiative will support 60 community groups across the UK**, including those in Birmingham, who make a meaningful difference to people’s daily lives.
One winning community group will receive a makeover from Anglian’s wide range of uPVC Windows and Composite Doors worth up to £24,600 to help breathe new life into a vital local hub. Meanwhile, 59 other community groups will be selected to each receive £600, providing essential support for their invaluable work at grassroots level.
Building on its 60 year-long legacy of working with homeowners across the UK, the 60 for 60 initiative goes beyond the front door to recognise the vital role community groups play in society. From community centres and grassroots charities to volunteer-led initiatives and local sports clubs, groups in Birmingham are encouraged to apply for support by 1st August 2026.

“In doing so, 60 for 60 is our way of not only saying thank you to the millions of homeowners and their communities that have supported us throughout the last six decades, but it is our hope it helps to build communities for the next six decades too. Latest research by Anglian has highlighted that three out of four (75%) Brits think that a strong sense of community is important in modern life, and more than one in two (62%) don’t feel that communities are supported with enough funding.
“That’s why we’ve decided to do our part in helping local communities through Anglian’s 60 for 60 community campaign. There are incredible individuals and groups working tirelessly to improve the lives of others in places like Birmingham.
“Anglian’s 60 for 60 seeks to recognise and support the projects that are helping their local communities continue to thrive. We’re proud to play a small part in making a positive difference and look forward to hearing the inspiring stories from across the country.
