West Bromwich-based charity, the Kaleidoscope Plus Group is set to provide a cost-of-living support payment to employees. The support, totalling a one-off payment of £650 for each employee, will be paid in October.

The move comes as energy prices increase and cost-of-living increases for all. The Kaleidoscope Plus Group charity helps thousands of people across the UK each year and offers a range of services for people in need of support.

On the recent support offer Monica Shafaq, CEO of The Kaleidoscope Plus Group, said: “Our ethos at KPG is to support people who need it most through our range of services across the UK and we are seeing an increase in the demand to our services due to the cost-of-living crisis.

“We must not forget that despite the crisis also impacting on businesses such as ours, it’s also impacting on our staff and we feel that as a responsible employer, we have an obligation to do everything we can to help and support them too.

“This payment is in recognition of the current financial climate and the stress this can put on our colleagues. This is a thank you to everyone at KPG for their continued hard work and endeavours to continue to provide exceptional services during these challenging times.”

Veronica Leigh-Hanson, Head of People and Culture at The Kaleidoscope Plus Group added: “The pressure on household budgets is a concern for everyone and we hope that this support will go some way towards helping our employees with rising household costs and bills, which we know have become a huge concern for many.”
