Medieval Wolverhampton, Georgian enamelling and high rise flats will be the subject of talks exploring different facets of local history. Wolverhampton City Council's Arts and Museums Service regularly organises local history talks on a wide variety of topics, including two in June.

Paul Quigley will repeat his talk about The Block Capital Project, a community history project on high-rise flats in Wolverhampton and the Black Country, at Wolverhampton City Archives on Wednesday 10 June from 5pm–6pm.

And former City Archaeologist Mike Shaw will talk about ‘A Tale of Three Towns - Medieval Wolverhampton, Walsall and Willenhall’ at Wolverhampton Art Gallery on Friday 19 June from 2pm-3pm.

All the talks are free – simply turn up on the day. For more information, please visit www.wolverhamptonart.org.uk.
