Help for Heroes (H4H) Patron, Lorraine Kelly recently visited Tedworth House Recovery Centre to launch the 2016 ‘Bake for Heroes’ campaign and to meet some Band of Sisters; the families of our Heroes.

It couldn’t be easier to get involved; you could get friends and neighbours over for tea and a slice of cake in exchange for a donation, or hold a bake sale at work or school.  Every single baked delight that is created, sold and eaten makes a difference to the support H4H can provide.

Register and fundraise for the chance to win a Kenwood kMix (kindly donated by Debenhams).  A free fundraising pack will be sent to every Bake for Heroes organiser to help make each event a success.  The packs include collecting boxes, a sweepstake game, bunting, balloons and pricing stickers.

The ‘Bake for Heroes’ campaign starts on 16 April – 2 May 2016, however if this isn’t convenient please feel free to choose a date that is.  To register or for more information visit www.bakeforheroes.org.uk or call 01980 846459.

Emma Parry, CEO & co-founder, Help for Heroes: “H4H is all about ‘doing your bit’ and this event is a wonderful example of people rallying support and having a great deal of fun while they raise money. The money you raise is needed, it is being used and it is hugely appreciated.”
