Macmillan Cancer Support has announced that for the first time urban obstacle race Adrenaline Rush is coming to Birmingham, taking place at Senneleys Park on Saturday 4th June. 35% of all entrance fees will go directly to Macmillan to help ensure that no one faces cancer alone. With a minimum of 20 obstacles in each race including a zip wire, a giant ball pit and a gunge tank, entrants are guaranteed to have their strength, stamina and mental resolve put to the test at every turn. Adrenaline Rush 2016 will get you:

  •          Wet and muddy – mud pits, water crawls, giant slides
  •          Hot and sweaty – vault walls, net climbs, plank walks
  •          Down and dirty – dark tunnels, barbed-wire crawls, rope mazes
  •          High and dry – log balances, trapeze swings, zip wires
  •          A guaranteed Adrenaline Rush – gunge tank, Gladiators, Leap Of Faith
  •          And much, much more...

Participants have the choice of either a 5k or a 10k course, meaning the event is suitable for all abilities and there is also the opportunity to complete the course as an individual or as part of a team.

Entrance fees start at £45 but rise closer to the event and discounts are available for group entries.

Macmillan has also launched ‘Young Rushers’ for this year – part of the Adrenaline Rush series that children over the age of 14 will be able to take part in, when entering with a responsible adult. The Birmingham 5k ‘Young Rushers’ race will take place in the afternoon at Senneleys Park on Saturday 4th June and will include a minimum of 20 obstacles, featuring everything from assault course favourites such as plank walks and rope mazes, to bespoke challenges including the giant slide Everest and Adrenaline Rush’s signature Leap Of Faith.

Tickets cost £70, which covers the entrance of one adult (18+) and one child (14+), with 35% of all entrance fees going to Macmillan to help ensure that no family faces cancer alone.
