Hundreds of Birmingham women braved the rain on Sunday to mark International Women’s Day with a city-wide celebration of exercise and physical activity.

Birmingham celebrated Commonwealth Day with a number of events, backed by the Birmingham Commonwealth Association, including a British Citizenship Ceremony attended by the Lord Mayor and Lady Mayoress of Birmingham.

Blenheim Palace scooped the award in the Best Wedding Venue, and were Highly Commended in Best Eating Out award.
