The event which will feature a talk by well-known wildlife filmmaker, conservationist and star of BBC series 'This Wild Life', Saba Douglas-Hamilton is raising money for the conservation charity Save The Elephants. Real Africa will be promoting the work of the charity at a number of travel shows through the autumn and winter with additional donations made by the Real Africa Trust to Save The Elephants on behalf of their clients.
Real Africa is delighted to announce that due to over-whelming demand, their special anniversary event on 8 October at the Royal Geographical Society in London is now sold out.
A competition will be launched on the evening in partnership with Kenya Airways to win a fly-in safari to Elephant Watch Camp, Samburu National Reserve, Saba's home and the film location for the BBC series This Widl Life. The winners will have the opportunity to see conservation first-hand in Samburu National Reserve, one of the best places in Africa to observe elephants at close proximity. The Reserve is also home to the longest running survey of African elephant behaviour in the world. A project started by Saba's father, Dr Iain Douglas Hamilton, founder of Save The Elephants.

Real Africa's marketing manager Sara White also advises to keep an eye on social media in the coming week as the award-winning tour operator aims to offer a handful of VIP tickets, which include plum seats in the theatre for Saba's talk and access to the famous Map Room beforehand for a drink, via online auction with all proceeds to Save The Elephants.
