One of the region’s leading housebuilders is looking to support people overcome the volatile property market by holding two special open weekends in Worcestershire on April 11th-12th and April 18th-19th.
Kendrick Homes, which has been building in the Midlands since 1880, will give potential buyers £10,000 towards their new home, as well as up to £2000 of support towards legal fees at its sites at Ambridge Fields (Inkberrow), Severn Meadows in Upton upon Severn and Cygnets Rest (Drakes Broughton). This latest support follows the launch of its ‘First Time Buyer’ helpline last month and has been designed to help customers move at a time when finances are tight and people want more certainty before making decisions.
The three Worcestershire developments are already proving extremely popular, with their combination of rural tranquillity and urban accessibility complementing the firm’s track record of creating exceptional living spaces that boast classic architecture, modern technology and a host of energy saving measures. Kirsty Darby, Head of Sales at Kendrick Homes, commented: “We are not just about bricks and mortar, we’re instead focused on creating thriving communities that fit in with the local character.
“This is reflected in what we are building at Ambridge Fields, Severn Meadows and Cygnets Rest and these two consecutive open weekends will give buyers a first look at the show homes and the chance to benefit from a one-off £10,000 payment if they reserve on Saturday or Sunday.” She continued: “It’s a very difficult market out there at the moment and we want to support people with the best advice (through our ‘First Time Buyer’ helpline) and a financial incentive to help ease some of the burden associated with moving home.
“Inkberrow is a beautifully designed 20-strong collection of two, three, four and 5-bedroom homes, with the Earlswood now complete and providing a fantastic example of a true family home. It will suit buyers looking to move up, relocate, or settle somewhere long-term.”
Kendrick Homes’ Severn Meadows site is in the vibrant town of Upton-upon-Severn, nestled on the banks of the River Severn with views across the Malvern Hills. A thoughtfully designed collection of 42 homes is available here and this weekend will see the 3-bed ‘Birley’ open for the first time, giving people a taste of what it could be like to live in this much sought-after location.
Kirsty continued: “We also have Discounted Open Market Value homes coming to the market at Severn Meadows within the next couple of weeks.
“These will be specifically for people who live or work locally, which is an important point for us. We want to give them a realistic route into home ownership in the area.”
