In collaboration with the Black Country Growth Hub, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce held a unique networking experience to mark Black Country Day 2016. On 14th July at the Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre, the free to attend event brought delegates together to celebrate the cultural heritage of the region. Local businesses participated in a range of themed activities, including games and competitions, as well as having the chance to view historic archive images and sample traditional Black Country food.

Recruit Recruit’s Operations Director Karen Eyke, winner of the Dudley Zoo tickets, said: “The quiz was great fun and considering Sarah is originally from London and I was born and bred in Shropshire I think we know a remarkable amount about the Black Country.  We are going to put the tickets towards a staff outing to Dudley Zoo - watch out Lemurs here we come!”

Black Country Chamber of Commerce would like to thank Dudley Zoological Gardens, Black Country Living Museum, Black Country Growth Hub and Wolverhampton Business Solutions Centre for their support and donations on the day.
