The official Mr & Miss Nigeria UK Cultural Pageant took place on Sunday 4th October 2015 in the amazing venue 229 The Venue in Great Portland Street. The Mr & Miss Nigeria UK pageant and showcase was scheduled to take place in the month of October as it involves the celebration of the Nigerian Independence. The overall aim of this Pageant is too empower and enrich the Nigerian culture in the UK.

This week, online retailer Peter Forson, ventures into the face-to-face retail industry with its first store opening in Birmingham’s historic Great Western Arcade. A study has revealed that having a group of six stylish friends to call upon via instant messages and social media to ‘like’ their choices is key to making the right fashion purchases. 
Research by social shopping site Shopa has shown that women need an average of two ‘likes’ from friends on instant messages and social media before they take an item to the till. Men are now following the female lead too, with guys needing four ‘likes’ before they buy.

Tess Daly has unveiled a dress with a difference – a gown completely made out of the ingredients in her new cereal recipe.  The show-stopping, fashion-forward garment, both co-designed and modelled by Tess, combines wheat, red apples and vanilla pods with almonds, flowers and blossoms to create a custom couture masterpiece worthy of the red carpet.

Miss Teen Caribbean UK Ltd have announced the Miss Teen Caribbean UK Finals and Awards ceremony 2015. Scheduled to take place on Saturday July 18, at the Tabernacle Village, in Notting Hill, London, the show will feature 7-10 candidates aged 13- 17 years representing; Antigua and Barbuda, Barbados, Guyana, Grenada, Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines and Trinidad & Tobago; All to compete in the hopes of becoming the next Miss Teen Caribbean UK Ambassador 2015.

A pearly white Hollywood smile may be all the rage but it’s the natural look which has been voted for as the nation’s favourite celebrity smile. Almost half of us (49 per cent) say a natural-looking smile is their personal favourite, with a straightened smile (20 per cent) and whitened teeth (18 per cent) completing the top trio of looks.
