At ProWein, Bottega winery and distillery will be presenting its collection of No/Alcohol products, which are increasingly in demand on the market, at its stand.

Alcohol-free products are now alongside traditional ones and represent a constantly growing niche market. Young people of Generation Z seem to prefer these products, not only for health reasons, but also for their informal and trendy consumption patterns, closely linked to the world of mixology.

Bottega anticipated this trend and began researching and experimenting in this sector over 20 years ago, at least a decade before No/Alcohol became a recognised category. The first launch dates back to the mid-2000s with a non-alcoholic bitter, well ahead of its time both commercially and culturally.

Today, the winery and distillery in Bibano di Godega (TV) offers a portfolio of appealing products, including two sparkling wines, a lemon-based non-alcoholic drink and an alcohol-free bitter. An essential line that effectively covers aperitifs and digestifs, as well as thirst-quenching breaks, offering bartenders a variety of ideas for creating new mocktails, which are increasingly in demand in the field of mixology.

The reference products are as follows:

  • Bottega 0, is a non-alcoholic beverage created for people who, for health or religious reasons or personal choice, are cautious with alcohol consumption. It is also appreciated by those who enjoy wine but take a cautious approach to alcohol consumption. Bottega 0 evokes the great tradition of sparkling wines, of which it is an original non-alcoholic evolution. It lends itself to established consumption patterns and to celebrating the ritual of toasting, thanks to the timeless charm of its bubbles. The skilful dosage of carbon dioxide gives the drink freshness, liveliness and character, despite its zero alcohol content. Available in both white and rosé versions, it recalls the indissoluble link with the world of wine. During the harvest, the grapes are picked in suitable areas when analyses show a good balance between sugars and acidity. The grapes are then destemmed and gently pressed. This produ ces a must that is stored in refrigerated tanks to prevent alcoholic fermentation. After the addition of carbon dioxide, the product is filtered and bottled. Bottega 0 should be served cold at a temperature of 4/5°C. Ideal at any time of day, it is an excellent ingredient for cocktails, especially fruit-based ones. It is perfect with cheese, especially fresh goat's and sheep's milk cheeses, pastries, tarts and fruit.
  • Limoncino 0.0 Bottega, is an innovative non-alcoholic beverage produced by Bottega thanks to its thirty years of experience in the production of lemon-based liqueurs. After extensive experimentation, a non-alcoholic version of Limoncino was created. Specifically, during the lemon harvest, the Femminello Siracusano and Verdello varieties are carefully selected, choosing fruits that are perfectly ripe. During processing, all the precious organoleptic properties of the original fruit are extracted from the peel, pulp and juice. Complex innovative techniques allow the natural extraction of aromas and preserve their qualities at every stage of production until the finished product. Limoncino 0.0 is excellent served neat at the end of a meal and ideal for preparing tasty mocktails. It goes very well with fresh fruit salads or in combination with lemon sorbet. It is also a perfect ingredient for making lemon cheesecake.
